A product carrying the memory of 6 February

The name 602 is a direct reference to 6 February. The project came from the emotional weight left by the earthquakes and a desire to build something practical: an emergency product that could be easy to obtain, simple to carry and dependable when it was finally needed.

I did not want to make another generic power bank or a soft emergency pouch. I wanted one compact station where critical functions remained visible, physical and understandable even in a stressful moment.

Several emergency tools, one interaction surface

The first prototype carries a 20,000 mAh battery and combines power-bank charging, radio reception, a flashlight, a screen, a physical help control, audio playback and a louder SOS signal produced with a buzzer. The enclosure also reserves space for emergency supplies and a thermal blanket.

A companion mobile application was designed to work with the device, including SOS-related interactions, but the source code is currently unavailable. The hardware therefore had to remain useful on its own: the phone could extend the experience, not become a single point of failure.

The shape changed when impact became the brief

Early versions explored cylindrical, taller forms. They packaged the idea, but they did not hold up well enough in impact studies. ANSYS simulations made that weakness visible and moved the project away from form-first styling toward a more stable structural envelope.

The final direction uses a lower rectangular volume, chamfered corners and reinforced outer zones. The proportions still follow the compact, friendly character I wanted, but the geometry now earns its place through load paths, component protection and a form that is easier to carry and store.

My first PCB made the object a system

602 became the project where I designed my first PCB and began taking embedded systems seriously. Packaging a radio, display, battery, audio hardware, buzzer, light and physical controls inside one enclosure forced the electronics and mechanical design to develop together.

The project also stretched my software practice through a companion mobile application and a promotional website. The current portfolio record is intentionally limited to the product and CAD evidence that remains available; the missing mobile source is not presented as verified implementation.
